About Me
I graduated from Treetops in 2011, which laid the foundation for my lifelong love of education. I continued my academic journey at the University of North Texas, earning a Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies. I am pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Technology and Instructional Design. I am certified in K-6, English as a Second Language, and the Science of Teaching Reading. I've taught 3rd, 5th and 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies.
As an avid bookworm, I firmly believe in the transformative power of books, and I hope to instill a love of reading in my students. My teaching philosophy centers around empathy and relationship building. I understand the importance of creating a supportive environment where every student feels valued and respected.
I look forward to the adventures the next school year will bring!
