Bio
Hi! My name is Ms. Mandy and I am the 4th grade ELA techer! This is my 5th year at Treetops and my 11th year teaching overall. I taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades in Keller ISD for 6 years. I enjoyed my time there but I am so happy to be at the Tops!
I graduated from Fort Worth Christian High School and then went on to graduate from The University of North Texas in 2008. I married my husband, Ryan, in 2007. Ryan and I have two sweet kids. Kasen is 10 and in 5th grade and McKenna is 5 and is starting kindergarten this year! We love to travel and give the kids new experiences. In 2014, Ryan, Kasen and myself moved to Chicago, IL for Ryan's job. We spent 2 years there and had a blast! McKenna was born in 2016 and we moved back to Keller shortly after that! As I mentioned, we love to travel. Some of our favorite places have been Cozumel, Mexico (we like to scuba dive there), Hawaii, Barbados and Rome. We are also on a mission to get all four of us to all 50 states and we are making great progress so far!
For fun, I like to read, spend time on the lake, go to baseball games, swing with the kids, travel, try new restaurants and continue my collection of all things purple!
Please know that I am so happy to be here and to have your student in my class! I am excited about this year and seeing what great things these kids can accomplish! Please feel free to send me an email if you ever have any questions!
