Each year we recognize our "Lifers"- students who started at Treetops in First Grade or earlier. It is not something that happens every year, and when it does, it's very unusual that we have more than one.
This year, we have six.
For six students in one graduating class to choose to spend their entire educational career with us humbles us. We are humbled by the dedication of these students and their families to the core idea at Treetops, and proud that we have, in some way, achieved something unusual in education- that we are not just a school, but a family.
Never in my 18 years at Treetops have we had six Lifers in one class, and to my knowledge, we've never before had ANY graduates who began in pre-K, until now. This is very special.
So congratulations to our Lifers, and to ALL our graduates. I am confident that I speak for all of the faculty here at Treetops when I say we are very, very proud of you all. Whether you were here for 13 years or one, you are, now and forever, Treetopians.
