I have been married for 15 years and have two very awesome step-daughters and a super cute dog. When I'm not at work I love to travel, take pictures, sew and embroider, and spend time with my family. I also sell handmade jewelry and accessories online and in local craft shows.
I received my BA from UT Arlington in 2002; English major, Art minor.
I received my MEd from UT Arlington in 2013; Education Leadership and Policy Studies.
I currently hold Texas teaching certifications in the following areas: English 8-12, History 8-12, Special Education EC-12, Principal certification.
I have happily worked at Treetops since 1998 and currently am Treetops Special Education teacher, Instructional Coordinator, Transition Specialist, DMAC point of contact, and District Testing Coordinator. However I have worn many hats at all levels of the school, with most of my time spent teaching at the high school level.
